Project Overview

The Sort Master project focused on developing an advanced robotic sorting system using the Dobot Robot platform. The system was designed to efficiently identify, sort, and manipulate objects based on their characteristics, utilizing Resolved Motion Rate Control for precise movements.

Using MATLAB, we implemented sophisticated control algorithms that enabled smooth and accurate robotic movements. The system incorporated object detection capabilities and advanced sorting algorithms to optimize the sorting process and minimize cycle times.

A key challenge was achieving high-speed operation while maintaining accuracy and reliability. This was addressed through careful tuning of the control parameters and optimization of the motion planning algorithms.
